Contacts in Rhythm can be linked to organizations. When viewing organizations, you can view a list of all contacts associated with the organization.
Linking Contacts to an Organization
- From the CRM App, you can click Contacts to go to the Contacts Overview screen
- Click the Create Contact Button
- You will be presented with the contact creation form. On the form, the organization field will allow you to search for an existing organization. If you find one in the system, you can click the organization.
- If the organization does not exist, you can enter in the organization name. Once the contact is created, a record for the organization will also be created.
Linking Contacts to Organizations by Domain
- When creating a contact, the system can attempt to associate a contact with an organization based on the contact’s email domain.
- When creating an organization, you can set the domain associated with the organization. Rhythm supports alternate domains that can be associated with an organization, allowing for multiple domains on a single organization.
- You can use the Alternate Domains section to add additional domains (when editing an organization) to add additional domains.
- Wildcards are supported when managing domains.
- For example, if you want rhythmsoftware.com, events.rhythmsoftware.com and sales.rhythmsoftware.com to all be associated the Rhythm Software organization:
- Set domain to rhythmsoftware.com
- Set an alternate domain to *.rhythmsoftware.com
- For example, if you want rhythmsoftware.com, events.rhythmsoftware.com and sales.rhythmsoftware.com to all be associated the Rhythm Software organization:
