If a member is locked out of their portal account, you can reset their password directly from the console.
Note: Members are able to reset their own passwords from the portal login screen.
- Navigate to the contact's CRM profile in the console.
- Below the main contact information, there are a series of tabs. Select the Security tab.
- Here, you can reset the password in one of two ways:
- Generate Password Reset Link — This option will send an email to the contact, prompting them to reset their password. This is the most secure method.
- Reset Password — This option allows you to set the password manually on behalf of the contact, but is considered less secure.
