Create an Exam Offering

Exams are tests that are administered throughout your certification process. You may host a single exam several times throughout the year and possibly in different formats. We call these exam offerings. Once you have configured your exams in setup, you can create any number of exam offerings.

1. Navigate to the Certifications app.
2. In the left toolbar select Exams and then Offerings.
3. Click the Create Exam Offering button and then select the associated exam.
4. Determine whether your exam offering is Live or Remote Proctor:
   • Live: This exam offering is being administered at a specific date, time, and location
   • Remote Proctor: This is an on-demand offering that can be taken at any time
5. If you selected Live, you will need to determine the:
   • Date of the exam offering
   • Registration time
   • Start time
   • End time
6. If you selected Remote Proctor, you will need to determine the expiration date of the offering. This will set how long the course is available.
7. Give your exam offering a name.
8. Choose the location of the exam - a training location or a testing facility.
9. Choose the specific location from the dropdown menu of options that you configured during setup.
10. Set eligibility criteria if only certain people should be allowed to register for the exam offering.
11. Assign the registration and retest fees.
12. If you would like to use specific notice templates for the pass and fail letters, choose them from the dropdown menus.
13. Click the Save Changes button.
