You can schedule queries to run automatically at specified time periods or intervals. Scheduled queries are helpful when you, a member of your staff, or a member of your board need information on a regular basis.
MANAGING SCHEDULED QUERIES
- After running your query, click on the chevron on the right side of the screen and a drop-down menu will appear.
- Click Schedule.
- Give the schedule a Name.
- Enter the Destination Email Address(es) where you want the query results sent.
- Select how often you want the query to be emailed to the recipients.
- Optionally, you can schedule the query to begin or end at specific times.
- If the query does not have any results, you can elect not to send them to the recipients.
- Select the Output Format for the query:
- Excel (formatted)
- Excel (unformatted)
- JSON
- CSV
- You have the option to customize the scheduled query Delivery Email. This includes who the email is coming from, a subject, merge fields, and the body of the email.
- Click Save Changes when complete.
