The embedded membership applications feature allows you to offer your constituents the opportunity to join or renew their membership during a certification or event registration process as if they were going through the membership application process outside of a certification or event registration process. This feature allows you to present your constituents with Package, Chapter, and Section selections along with add-ons, Corporate Member Contacts, and Directory Opt-Outs.
Event Registration Form Setup
- In the Meetings and Shows application click Setup
- Click Registration
- Click Forms
- Either edit an existing form or create a new one
- On the page you would like to to add the feature, click Add Component
- Select the Embedded Membership Application component
- Now you will see the Add Membership Component drop down appear
- Click Add Membership Component
- Select the Membership Components you want to add to the form
- Note that all Membership Components will need to be placed on the form below the Embedded Membership Application component
- Click Save Changes
Now this form can be added to an event registration process to present your members with the membership application process. Your registrants will see a checkbox prompting them to add-on a membership during the event registration process, which if checked, will display the items you have configured on the form for them to select.
Certification Form Setup
- In the Certifications application, click Setup
- Click Applications
- Click Forms
- Either edit an existing form or create a new one
- On the page you would like to to add the feature, click Add Component
- Select the Embedded Membership Application component
- Now you will see the Add Membership Component drop down appear
- Click Add Membership Component
- Select the Membership Components you want to add to the form
- Note that all Membership Components will need to be placed on the form below the Embedded Membership Application component
- Click Save Changes
