In Rhythm, you can have multiple membership directories with different sets of criteria (ie, one directory for contacts and one for organizations). Because you can have multiple directories, we need to place the membership directory’s ID on the portal page where it should be accessible. Here’s how:
Getting the Directory ID from the Membership application
- Start in the Membership & Committees app
- Click Setup
- Expand the Membership drop-down
- Select Directories
- Click the # symbol next to the directory you want to add to the portal, then click Copy ID to Clipboard
- Go to the Portals & Microsites app
- From the Pages section, Edit the page you want the membership directory to appear on (ie, Membership Directory
Inputting the Directory ID in Portals and Microsites

- From the Pages section, Edit the page you want the membership directory to appear on (ie, Membership Directory
- Click on the Membership Directory component in the page designer
- Click the Settings button, then paste the Membership Directory ID into the field where it says Directory ID
- Click Save Changes
- Click Publish Changes
