Platform

💡 NEW

• We have directories throughout the system, but there are times when you’d prefer to display them as a simple list in the portal, instead of a searchable directory. We added the option on all directories to choose to hide search options and display the contents as a list. 
• We added the option to allow your constituents to choose which fields they would like to include in the directory in addition to the full opt-out option.

Contacts + Organizations

🛠 FIXES

• We tweaked some UI errors in the CRM app this month, it’s now better than ever!

Finance + Billing

🛠 FIXES

• Finance + Billing queries got a minor makeover this month.
• Refund and Invoice templates had a couple of UI errors causing a confusing experience, but they’ve been fixed. 
• When modifying the financial configuration for any product, users were unable to remove G/L accounts, even after the one required account was attached. We fixed this.

Membership + Committees

💡 NEW

• We already had the ability to set membership applications to require approval, but this month we added the ability to configure membership processes to require approval based on the chapter that is selected. 
• Now you can limit the amount of times someone can apply for a specific membership package. 
• Whenever someone makes a payment on a membership package in the portal, you now have the option to prompt them to renew automatically using the same payment method. 

🛠 FIXES

• We made minor enhancements throughout the Membership app for a more intuitive user experience. 

Meetings + Shows

💡 NEW

• For portal-integrated events, we added the ability to display event attendee lists in the portal – and you can configure it per event and choose whether or not it is visible to only attendees. 
• To go along with event attendee lists in the portal, you have the option to hyperlink the Attendee List on the View My Registration page. 
• You can now view a full event schedule within a portal-integrated event.
• You can now set the display order for sessions, functions, and other events on the event registration form.
• We added the ability to make any event a featured event in the portal – meaning it will display more prominently. When enabled, you can set the start and end date of when it should be featured and it will display on its own at the top of the Browse Events page in the portal. 
• Now, you have the ability to display upcoming chapter events for a user's primary chapter in the portal. 
• We added the ability for portal-integrated events to allow for group registration.

🛠 FIXES

• We added an error message and tip box for a more intuitive user experience when enabling meal options on event registrations in the console. 

Certifications

💡 NEW

• We added the ability for users to edit their certification activities in the portal, giving them autonomy over their certification activities. To begin using this – check out this help article.

🛠 FIXES

• There were a couple of issues affecting certification applications throughout the app, but we cleaned them up! 

Accreditations

💡 NEW

• We added the ability to search all contact records during a Site Visit Team Assignment Candidate Search, not just users that have a current Accreditation Status.

Orders + Inventory

🛠 FIXES

• We cleaned up the UI on the order cancellation page.

Awards + Nominations

🛠 FIXES

• We added a checkbox in the nomination process setup in the console – now you can choose to allow users to nominate themselves for an award in the portal!

Fundraising + Gifts

💡 NEW

• The option to save a credit card on the public fundraising page was creating a confusing experience when the giver was not signed in or did not have a Rhythm portal account, so we removed it.

Portals + Microsites

🛠 FIXES

• The portal redirect link after sign-in now returns to the page they were attempting to view as expected.

Integrations

💡 NEW

• We added ‘Membership Package’ as a parameter for Higher Logic Communities, so you can use the membership package type as a security group in Higher Logic. 

🛠 FIXES

• For better campaign building in Campaign Monitor, we changed the date field type that is pushed to Campaign Monitor to a number field instead of a text field.
