Using Relative Dates in Billing Runs
You can use relative dates in membership billing run templates as well as certification billing run templates. This is helpful when you want specific actions to occur on a regular basis. Instead of executing an action on the billing run date, you can choose to use relative dates.
- Navigate to either the Membership or Certification app and select Setup from the left toolbar
- Select Billing and then Templates from the left toolbar
- Create a new billing run template or edit an existing one
- Under each billing run action, you can determine the segment of members or certificants based on a date range - this can be a relative date range
- Determine if the condition is at the time of the date, before it, or after it
- If you choose a time before or after the date, you will have the option to determine the exact number of days, weeks, months, or years from the date
- Select the relative time frame
- Click the Save Changes button to add the criteria to your billing run template
