March 2022 Release Notes
Platform-Wide
đź’ˇ New + Improved
- Custom Tables and Objects are now available and can be configured by Rhythm Staff. Use this feature to record multiple instances of information from members and get the benefits of customization without the cost.
đź› Fixes
- A few fixes were made to the Rhythm + WordPress integration to create a more seamless experience for all.
Contacts + Organizations
đź› Fixes
- Emails were showing up in the phone number column on the Organization 360 screen, and we knew that wasn’t right. All fixed now.
- Searching for contacts by their organization name was throwing an error, which isn’t very helpful. That’s not happening anymore.
- The Organization name was still populating on the Contact 360 screen even after it had been removed, so we fixed it.
- Templates were not being carried over when applied to new forms. That defeats the purpose of a template, so we’ve corrected the issue.
- The Last Portal Login Date field now properly displays in query results.
- Fixed a few issues that were preventing records from being merged successfully.
Finance + Billing
đź› Fixes
- It came to our attention that payment reversals were not being executed properly, which is no fun for anyone. They should behave as intended now.
- We made a few performance enhancements to batch processing.
- Updated language in the message that displays when there’s an error closing fiscal periods - in order to be more helpful for the end-user.
Membership + Committees
đź› Fixes
- Miscellaneous fixes were made to correct query results, application submissions, auto-renewing runs, and membership record errors. Here’s to a better experience in the Membership and Committees app.
Meetings + Shows
đź’ˇ New + Improved
- Now, you can allow members to renew during the event registration process. It’s convenient, quick, and encourages renewals at a time when people can clearly see the value of their membership.
- Incentivize your exhibitors and vendors by configuring discounts that apply when they bulk purchase event booths.
- When importing event registrations for a live event, a default registration process can be configured to allow for a more seamless implementation process.
đź› Fixes
- Imported event registrations now appear in query results and are viewable in the portal.
- Custom fields can now be populated when manually completing an abstract.
- Updates to the speaker roster page and speaker image display will allow for a better portal experience.
- Rapid-fire fixes that include cancellable and transferable event registrations, correct information in query results, accessible abstract links on contact records, and prices that display properly in both the console and the portal.
- Meal options were appearing on event registration forms even when disabled, but not anymore.
- The descriptions for Exhibitor add-on products now display in the portal, so your members will know how many Mbps that wifi is - or what’s included in the “Gold Sponsor” package.
Certifications
đź’ˇ New + Improved
- Allow members to choose how their name is displayed on their certification certificates. They say personalization is key, and we couldn’t agree more.
- The system will now automatically record the sent date of any exam pass or fail notices on the linked application. Keeping track of your correspondence shouldn’t be a hassle, and now it doesn’t have to be.
Orders + Inventory
