- Mass updates got some TLC this month – we fixed the ability to mass update membership expiration dates via a file upload.
Contacts + Organizations
💡 NEW
- We added a selectable filter to the Organization 360 screen that allows users to choose to see only active contacts or both active and inactive contacts related to an organization.
🛠FIXES
- Users were experiencing portal issues related to creating organizations and configuration settings not being respected. We fine-tuned it, and everything is working as expected.
- Stellar reporting is all about removing roadblocks and returning accurate data and results, so we cleaned up Contact + Organization queries this month after a few bugs were reported.
- We made UI tweaks for a cleaner experience when merging and viewing duplicate records.
Finance + Billing
💡 NEW
- We added support for ‘Departments’ in subledger entries in Rhythm for easier financial reporting. Now, you’re able to utilize departments to make it easier to reconcile with your financial management system for better tracking and reporting on your financial data. Learn how to set this up here.
- We added the G/L Account name as a column in the Subledger Entry report for better visibility.
- We added a setup checklist in the Finance + Billing app for a step-by-step guide on how to get started.
- We added the following fields to the invoice queries: Days Past Due, Bill to Customer Name, and Bill to Customer ID.
🛠FIXES
- We cleaned up the UI and made overall improvements to finance billing runs for a cleaner experience.
- We fixed the ability to save changes and make edits on invoices.
- Merge fields on invoice statements were causing a couple of hiccups, so we fixed them.
- We made tweaks throughout the Finance app for a cleaner experience and better financial management and reporting.
Membership + Committees
💡 NEW
- We added a pop-up box on membership edit screens throughout the console to alert users if a membership they are editing has been changed by another user.
- You now can offer opt-out auto-renew on a membership package, learn how to set it up here.
🛠FIXES
- Group membership applications are designed to make it easier to join as a group – not harder. That’s why we fixed some errors that were preventing ease of use.
- There seemed to be some trouble merging records when membership chapters or sections were involved – we tinkered with the internal workings and fixed it.
- Billing runs are more of a marathon, not a sprint. We’ve been training behind the scenes for the big marathon – stretching, eating right, and going on daily jogs. All that to say, we fixed some issues that were preventing billing runs from well, running, properly.
- Queries are only as helpful as the data pulled – we fixed some issues our users reported where certain output fields weren’t populating correctly.
- Membership confirmation emails were having a bit of trouble – we cleaned some things up, and they are good to go.
- We tidied up the directory UI in portals for a cleaner experience.
Meetings + Shows
💡 NEW
- We added ‘Withdrawn’ as a status reason in Abstracts to allow you to account for a situation where a submitter withdraws their abstract submission.
🛠FIXES
- Abstracts are key to a successful event – we made improvements to the whole process this month, from setup to submissions, reviews, and reporting.
- Event staff know how important reporting is for their shows and conferences. That’s why we refined event queries and reports for a better experience and insights.
- A seamless registration process empowers your registrants to sign up for your event – we fixed issues related to event registration, including session selection and confirmation email messaging.
- We cleaned up the presenter center in the portal, and it’s now better than ever.
Certifications
🛠FIXES
- We made some tweaks to the Certifications app for a better user experience.
Accreditations
💡 NEW
- We added new statuses throughout the Accreditation app – ‘Inactive’ for Team Candidates and ‘Tabled’ for accreditation reports.
- We added support for accreditation team assignments. Now, you can query potential team candidates, mark and track potential candidates, and assign candidates to teams.
🛠FIXES
- We tinkered with the internal workings of Rhythm to fix some issues with searching inside the Accreditations app.
- We worked behind the curtain this month to prepare Accreditations for its Broadway debut – the stage is set, and we’re almost ready for opening night. All that to say, we cleaned up the UI on 360 screens throughout the app.
Orders + Inventory
💡 NEW
- We added the ability to view related invoices created by installment schedules when viewing an order 360 screen.
- When querying an order or any object related to an order, we added the output fields of ‘Order Coupon(s)’ and ‘Order Coupon Code(s)’.
- We added a tip box in the Universal Shopping Cart setup to alert users that event capacity settings are not respected when purchased through the Universal Shopping Cart. Note: event capacity settings will function as respected when attendees register through traditional event registration forms.

- Some console-wide settings were not being respected, even when configured. We fixed it!
- Some queries throughout Orders + Inventory weren’t displaying properly, but they are now.
- We tidied up the 360 and review screens throughout the app for a better user experience.
- Merge fields are now displaying properly in confirmation emails.
- We made app-wide improvements for a stellar user experience – it was pretty great before, but dare we say Orders + Inventory is the best it's ever been.
Awards + Nominations

- We spruced up Awards and Nominations queries for a better reporting experience.
- We made improvements to the portal experience when submitting an award or review.
- Some console setting configurations weren’t being respected, so we fixed it. R-E-S-P-E-C-T!
Fundraising + Gifts
💡 NEW
- For a more targeted approach to soliciting donations during your next campaign, we added Status (Membership) as an output field in Fundraising queries – so you can quickly see someone’s donor and membership statuses in one place.
🛠FIXES
- We fine-tuned Fundraising queries for an enhanced reporting experience.
- A couple of automated emails throughout the fundraising process were experiencing some issues – we fixed them!
- Users are able to choose to save a credit card when processing a donation.

- There were a few minor fixes to the Documents app this month – it is now better than ever.
Queries
💡 NEW
- Any time you are querying records linked to organizations, you can now query contact roles in line with the query.
